Process Analysis Service

XACT PCB provides clients with expert-evaluated information about their production-oriented operations. Using on-site visits, the XACT engineers will gather and analyse critical process and system information. Extensive study of the machines and processes will evaluate:
  • Current and potential registration capability and the statistical effect of improving process limitations on overall technical capability
  • Machine limitations
  • Mechanical operations
  • Sequence of events
  • Personnel-elicited improvement ideas and perceived operation discrepancies
  • Other areas needing improvement
At the conclusion of the review, clients will receive a professionally written and formatted report that outlines XACT's findings and recommendations for improvements. The report is a detailed glimpse into the workings of the current relevant PCB processes, allowing clients to make informed, data-driven decisions about machine upgrades and replacements, actual versus claimed benefits of systems components, and estimated payback for productivity and technology boosting investments.

XACT's Approach to Projects

We adopt a practical approach to our clients by providing engineers with many years experience working in PCB manufacturing operations producing complex multilayer and HDI products.

To ensure optimum results, the XACT engineers target three levels of data acquisition and control:

Level 1: Process Control
XACT solves the process control issues of progressive PCB technology with advanced solutions that increase yields and productivity. Control steps are integrated throughout the manufacturing process including production and usage of artworks, direct imaging, lamination processes etc.

Level 2: Data Acquisition and Capability Improvement
XACT thoroughly analyses the factors required to improve your process capability by qualifying and quantifying the strengths and weaknesses of your current process. Using advanced data acquisition and analysis solutions, process data is then accessible to drive the capability improvement of your facility.

Level 3: Management Systems
Information from the previous two levels is integrated to develop a management information system. This system allows quick observation of processing results, using statistical and exception reporting, custom queries and data trends.
